Hello and Thank You for Our Connection!
It’s been a few months since I’ve written a note to our turning inward community. My prayer is that you are taking care of yourselves, have found resources to keep you nourished, inspiration to lift your spirits, and creative ways of keeping a healthy, strong body/mind.
Covid19, and the changes we’ve faced over the past 5 months were enough to create a tailspin in the most solid of souls. The uproars, violence, and conflicting messages alongside the virus created a shakiness in already shaky foundations and have caused devastating challenges for our humanity. The populations of those struggling with health issues, chronic pain syndromes, anxiety and depression have suffered terribly during this time. Housebound parents with children suffering with disabilities and emotional acting out as well as those who live alone are experiencing detrimental isolation. Some have lost their work, income, and are struggling to make ends meet. How will we transform our fear of the unknown to find the patience, courage, and the sensibility needed to negotiate these times?
There are many answers to that question. These times ask us to find creative ways to nourish our spirits. Staying present in the “now” with a project you love, writing you’ve always wanted to do, reading a wonderful book, and watching inspiring movies all reduce our “what ifs” and “when thens” that pull us into fear-based thinking. Physical exercise and movement everyday will also keep you thriving. If you are home bound, there are a plethora of videos, many free on you tube, and resources all over the web that offer exercise for all levels. Check it out!
With transparency, I’d like to share personally about the changes I’ve experienced over the past few months. My new office in Woodbury opened on March 1st. I was so excited about the space and the new beginning if offered. The office has been closed since March 11th due covid. In the beginning of June, I made the sad and difficult decision to permanently close my Nassau County office. Most of my clients have health issues, and being in an office building, (where many people are coming in and out each day) create too many safety issues. The financial hit was truly difficult. However, my life commitment and passion is healing body, mind, and spirit. Soooo, I too have lifted my spirits and have found new ways of offering my work!
My Middle Island office in Suffolk County is open for in person hands-on treatment, and spiritual counseling sessions. The office is safe and disinfected between clients. Your temperature will be taken and you must wear a mask. I will be wearing a mask throughout our session.
Individual online healing and energy balance coaching appointments via Zoom or FaceTime are available.
Group classes, Turning Inward 6-week Class, Turning Inward Advanced, and Meditation classes are also available through zoom. Please email me or you can sign up on my website on the contact page.
For many of us these times have been a financial strain. I’m offering discounted and donation based sessions for those who have lost their income due to covid19 and are unable to receive the benefits offered to others. I’m well aware of those challenges so donations of whatever you can offer are truly appreciated.
Let’s create the healing needed so you can get back into your life and bring that healing to those surrounding you.
With Blessings of Compassion,
