In the past two months I’ve seen several movies, watched a tv series, and attended a broadway show…approximately 35 hours of my life. The shows stirred my soul, and made me curious about the energy that surrounds us each day. Don’t get me wrong, they were worth my time, and I even enjoyed them. The curious part was that as I reflected on the themes associated with each of these movies I experienced the truth of the saying, “art imitates life.”
In “Concussion" we learn about the deception associated with brain injury in the sport of football, and the brave doctor who risks it all to bring the truth to light. In “Spotlight” we witness the coverup of sexual abuse by priests in Boston, and the dedicated news team who doesn’t stop until they publish the truth. “The Big Short” reveals the story of how a few souls consciously used their power to make millions of dollars by selling mortgages to those who would never be able to afford to pay them off. The foundation of their greed manifested a financial disaster and just about totally crashed the stock market. In “Joy” a single Mom living a life of debt, suffering, and pain creates an invention and is betrayed by her financers, lawyers, and family until she fully gets on her own side to stand in and speak her truth. "Resonance: Beings of Frequency" speaks to the known dangers of using cells phones and the effects of electromagnetic radiation on our bodies and in our environment.
These movies have sparked a curiousity deep within me. As one who supports others to make the necessary changes for reducing pain and living a more joyous creative life I see betrayal each day. Betrayal of the body, mind, heart and spirit that awaken dis-ease. I wonder if some of the deception reflected in our world creates the opening for us to deceive ourselves. If this writing speaks to you, take some time to turn inward, take off the masks, and consider where you might be betraying the song of your body, mind, heart, and soul. With compassionate action, courage, and mindful focus transformation unfolds and peace awakens. Blessings of peace....Caron
