![]() "Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy." - Robert Tew As we continue upon our paths into 2013, take a moment and reflect on your experience thus far. How are you spending your time? Are your activities honoring what you want to create in your life? Reflect on any resolutions you may have made; are they helping you to grow in a way that serves you? It's easy to get caught up in the chaos of life. In a world full of technology where we are constantly checking email, social media, and staring at a screen, sometimes what we are doing is actually draining us rather than bringing us alive. Are you drained of energy, or focused on stories that may not be serving your mental, spiritual and emotional health in the best way? If you find yourself chained to a blackberry for work, or addicted to your email and social media, take a moment to turn the screen off, step away and give yourself 3 minutes of relaxed breathing. Check in with yourself and take a few inner moments. How could you better use your time to reflect the vision you are wanting to create? We often stare at our iPhones, iPads, iPods, all the meanwhile missing out on our eye contact. Don't forget to connect with those people in your life who support you. Be mindful of your needs and consider if what you are focused on brings your dream alive or distracts you from it. How do you keep alive your vision for creating the life you want to live? Please comment below and share your story.
