"What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hello from the inside! The quiet morning calls me to connect with you, and see how you are holding up? For me, the challenges and devastation of the last few months created a myriad of emotion, thoughts, physical symptoms, restlessness, loss, unraveling, and finally settling into the new now. Many of you have reached out with old symptoms rising to meet you, pain, anxiety, depression, alongside the tragic loses of life of family, and friends. How do we move through this uncharted territory?
What's right has been to be home, safe, and honor those who work tirelessly to save the lives they can and bless the lives they've lost. It's a dark time in our world! However, out of that darkness rises the amazing light of the human spirit, the compassionate healing force that wants to help, to heal, and come together to discern the sensible path before us. This time calls for a collective human reset, a reflective dive into our hearts. What do we miss about our lives? What don't we miss? Who do we miss? Have old habits tempted us into revisiting places we already transformed? What's nudging our spirits when the seeds of opening back up our world create a fear based unknown? How do we find balance when there is none? How do we accept what is rather than what we've always thought would be? Start small, start with what you know, start with you!
Our breath holds the blessings of balance, of healing, and a bridge to connect your body-mind and spirit. Be with your breath, listen to the sounds of nature, find your way from the outer world to your inner world by consciously noticing your breathing. Or as the Dalai Lama teaches, "As you breathe in, cherish yourself. As you breath out, cherish all Beings." This practice allows the blessings of treasuring others from the safe shelter of our hearts. The beautiful poet Mary Oliver said, "What can we do but keep on breathing in and out, modest and willing, and in our places?" How could Mary have known her question would be so fitting just a year after her passing? I've found many gifts in consciously sitting with my breath during my life. Those gifts have deepened during quarantine as my restlessness has turned to quiet, my unraveling to inspiration, and my longing to deeper visioning, and healing what rises to meet me.
I've always loved physical connection, touch, big hugs, and looking into the eyes of those who sit before me. I now embrace energetic connections, video healing appointments and virtual turning inward classes. As our paradigm shifts, my heart opens deeper to the ways I can help now until once again we can safely meet in person.
If you know anyone who is suffering and needs help, please offer my contact, and I will do my best to support their healing.
My heart is full of hope in our humanity, sends you peace, healing, light, and comfort. Allow your spirit to transform your pain and fear as you embody the light of your soul!
Healing blessings to you ~ Caron
